Thanks for coming wild camping with us.

Check In: from 2pm

Check Out: by Midday

Welcome!

We are looking forward to sharing the beauty of this special valley with you …..
Please can you read the following words so you can help us care for it whilst you are here .

Fires and Firewood - We very much support having well tended campfires ! You are also welcome to have BBQs . If you can set up camp around a pre existing fire spot that would be better for the land.
Please don’t take wood from our woods..….we can provide you with firewood bags £7.50 logs and £4 kindling. Please come to the wood store beside the Mill, walk straight out of the main entrance to the field, and along the flat road for about 60m and the wood store is on your left. You can collect your prepaid wood from there or use the QR code to pay. Or call ‭01884 906726‬. (pre-paid is 1 x logs and 1 x kindling)
We also have a central firepit with benches around, feel free to start a fire here or join other campers if a fire is going.

Rubbish and Recycling - Please leave no trace ! - Please litter pick your area well …and please take all your rubbish and recycling home with you. Thank you ! (there is a recycling point at Morrisons in Tiverton)

Water - The IBC near the parking area is filled from our well at the mill. It is good fresh tested drinking water. Please use the stream for all your other water needs , i.e washing of dishes and self. If it has been raining and the river water is looking muddy then feel free to use the fresh water for washing if too!

Chemicals - It is essential that you do not use any products in the waterways and only use totally natural products near the waterways. Ecover (other green products are available:)) can be used for washing up at our sink. Don’t pollute the water ways with chemically bad soaps, shampoos, conditioners, suncreams.

Toilets - We have a double compost toilet for your use, please follow instructions in the toilet . You can only use bio degradable tissues/ wipes. If you are wild wild camping, further away from our main field, you will need to bring a spade and dig a hole then bury your poos :)

Lots of Deer = Ticks - Unfortunately with lots of wild deer here, there are ticks. We recommend checking yourselves daily. Bring tweezers... pulling them out straight is best.

Thank you for reading. Sharing this untouched nature and wild campsite is only possible if we all respect the land and each other.
